Feel free to ask anything you'd like! Just leave a comment! It can be about the game itself or about RPing in general. Anything you don't understand! :3

IMPORTANT NOTE: I don't use notifications, so if you've got a question that's urgent, it might be best to try leaving a comment in my LJ, or IMing/e-mailing me (MSN/E-mail: ken_sama28@hotmail and AIM: Jlarinda). Don't hesitate to contact me!

- How do journals work?

They're paper journals, all conected with each other. Only the owner can open it. You write on them with pens/pencils/whatever, as you'd normally do with a journal. Due to their magic (the reason why they are all connected to each other), icons show up as well. Charas can't see journal names, though. And despite the pages being made of paper, they can't be destroyed or ruined (by getting them wet, burning them, ripping off the pages, etc). Minor things like spots (because the chara's crying, because they dropped coffee on it, w/e) would be possible.

ETA: Starting on August 29th, 2009, journals have an audio/video option as well. Please refer to that entry for more info.

- What characters can be played?

Any CLAMP series charas. Since pretty much all of CLAMP's animes were not written by them, this is a mangaverse-only game.

There are very, very few exceptions to this:

Tsubasa's FWR and Chii aren't playable. FWR would just be murdered over and over by the rest of the TRC cast, and Chii has no body of her own, so she'd die instantly once she arrives and meets any of the Sakuras. Plus, she doesn't seem to have any means to learn or 'evolve' since she has no soul in that form.

Also un-playable are any characters with practically zero canon information that will have more info about them revealed as their canon progresses.

... Just ask first, if you're not sure if someone's playable or not |D

- How many versions of a chara can be played?

It depends. There has to be some significant difference (usually this means a time period, but it's not always what counts) between them. You could app for TB!Subaru and X!Subaru (and even TB!Subaru from the first volume & TB!Subaru from the seventh volume), or the pre-Tokyo!TRC gang and the post-Tokyo!TRC gang.

Speaking of Tsubasa, the AU versions in them count as different charas, obviously. Means we can have TRC!C!Syaoran, TRC!R!Syaoran, and CCS!Syaoran.

- How do my charas earn money?

They will get a sort of allowance by default, and then they can get a job in the city once they're settled in. EDIT: Charas which are too young to work will keep getting their allowance regularly. They're not required to get a job.

- Do all charas speak English by default?

Yes. Think of TRC! They all have the different languages translated into English in their heads. Also, the journals translate whatever they write in into English (which they can also read). If they concentrate enough, they could speak in their original languages, though. And suffixes are allowed.

- Can we play dead charas?

Yes! They can be brought in after they died, or from a point in their canon when they were alive (say, if you applied for CCS's Nadeshiko, you could play her as she is when she becomes a ghost, or from before her death, since canon gives us enough info about her)

- What happens if my character is hurt?

Wounds in Kiseki heal three times faster than usual. And there's always the hospital, if they have a significant injury. And if your chara's hurt when you bring them over, they'll be taken to the hospital immediately. If the injury they would've arrived with was fatal, then it will be completely healed. Think of Kurogane after he loses his arm, versus Hokuto after Seishirou kills her? Kurogane'd go to the hospital, while Hokuto would be perfectly healthy when she arrives.

- What happens if my character dies?

You need mod approval for this first. And if your character is killed by someone else, or due to an accident, they'll remain unconscious for a certain period of time, depending on what caused them to die. Once this time's over, the character will wake up, their memory intact but not knowing what happened during the time they were unconscious. If their injuries were not too severe, they'll be healed automatically as they 'sleep'. If the damage to their body was severe, they'll dissappear once the time is over, and re-appear in the Welcome Center as well.

If your character commits suicide, the same things apply, but during the time they remain without conscience, they'll enter a sort of dream where they'll relive whichever is their worst memory, over and over until they wake up. And they'll remember having this experience.

- Can my chara appear somewhere else than in the Welcome Center?

Nope. They're copies of the original 'people', so when they appear in the Welcome Center, they've actually just been created. So it's impossible to show up anywhere else.

NOTE: The following rules were added on October 17, 2008. If something played before does not match with these rules, it's because they were not being enforced before.

- What if my character isn't the type to want to write in a journal? Can we wait until it's necessary for them to communicate with someone to make the first post?

Nope. Writing your first entry, of at least 250 characters long, is what lets you leave the Welcome Center. If your character isn't convinced by the Kisekian ladies, then they'll be stuck there until they change their minds.

ETA: NOTE: This only applies for the first time your character visits Kiseki. If you pull them back during a hiatus, and then bring them back, they'll be able to leave freely.

- Is there really no way for a character to leave Kiseki?

If they write a thousand entries in their journals, they'll be taken to the Welcome Center and given the option to come back. But of course, Kisekians will never reveal this, and not more than one entry per day counts for this, so it might be a while before any character finds the way out!

- For a map of Kiseki, check the Locations entry.
